Bewick Bridge Primary School is a friendly and welcoming community school in Cherry Hinton, on the outskirts of Cambridge. We currently provide education for 233 children aged 4 - 11 years. We share our site with Little Cherries Pre-School and Cherry Kids’ Club. Our school is making good progress in all aspects of our provision. We are a forward thinking staff and encourage innovation and action research. We are actively working to reduce workload and improve well being for all.

  • Two posts available - 28.75 hours over 5 days and 5.75hours (Fridays only), term time plus 5 INSET days.We wish to appoint a capable, enthusiastic and highly motivated teaching assistant to work as part of our amazing staff team. This position will be in a KS1 class.We are looking for someone who:

Teaching Assistant - Nurture

Salary: Level 2 Scale 5

 Site Manager Vacancy

Start date: 27th August 2019

Contract type: Full time, permanent

Salary: Scale 3 (14-17) - (£17,681 - £18,672 plus occasional overtime)

Hours: 37 hours per week full time. 7.00 am – 10.00 am and 2.40pm - 7.00pm (Actual hours worked during school closure period to be negotiated with the Headteacher dependent on school needs). Additional hours for lettings can be claimed.

We wish to appoint a capable, enthusiastic and skilled Site Manager to provide efficient and effective management of our large site. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to use their initiative;
  • Problem solving and the ability to identify and overcome potential risks;
  • Good maintenance/DIY skills;
  • An understanding of Health & Safety and relevant legislation;
  • An understanding of value for money and the ability to work within a budget;
